We began our journey in 1970 as a family-run blinds manufacturer in Derry, building a reputation for quality craftsmanship and personal service. Today, we’ve grown to include Fiesta Blinds, Fiesta Spas, and Fiesta Solar — three dedicated divisions, one shared mission:

Company Overview: The Evolution of Fiesta
Founded in the 1970s, Fiesta Blinds began as a retailer specialising in simple window coverings. Over the decades, the company evolved significantly, transitioning from off-the-shelf products to customised, made-to-measure blinds supplied by renowned Northern Irish manufacturer Decora Blind Systems.
As customer demand grew, Fiesta Blinds made a strategic decision to bring manufacturing in-house. This enabled the company to build a skilled workforce of approximately 30 employees across sales, production, and installation, while strengthening its commitment to locally sourced materials and strong partnerships with both domestic and commercial clients.
In 1995, the business formally became Fiesta Blinds and Fabrics Ltd, founded by Billy McCartney, Paul McCartney, and Anne McDermott. The company relocated to Springrowth Business Park in Derry, where it expanded its production capacity, introduced new product lines, and secured key contracts with organisations such as DuPont, several universities, and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. The company later faced a period of rationalisation during the rise of automation in the mid-2000s. Staffing levels were temporarily reduced, and there was a renewed focus on efficiency and external supply to navigate the 2006 financial crisis.
In 2017, Paul McDermott was appointed Operations Manager, initiating a new era of lean manufacturing. Under his leadership, Fiesta recommitted to in-house production, prioritising quality, sustainability, waste reduction, and employee wellbeing.
By 2019, Paul McCartney retired, and Paul McDermott became Director of Operations. With fresh vision and renewed energy, the company embarked on a bold expansion plan. This included enlarging the production facility at Springrowth Business Park, exploring export opportunities, and launching new retail showrooms—culminating in the opening of the Omagh showroom in November 2021.
Recognising the growing demand for lifestyle and eco-conscious solutions, Fiesta expanded its offering beyond blinds. In 2022, Fiesta Spas was launched, becoming an authorised distributor of luxury Artesian hot tubs, complemented by a curated range of accessories and wellness products. Building on this diversification, Fiesta Solar was introduced in 2023, offering MCS-certified solar panel systems, battery storage, and EV charging solutions for homes and businesses across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Today, Fiesta Group stands as a multi-division company, proudly manufacturing and supplying premium window blinds, high-efficiency hot tubs, and renewable energy systems — all under one trusted brand. Its continued growth is rooted in local craftsmanship, customer-focused service, and a forward-thinking commitment to sustainability and innovation.
